Minewise

Minewise is a no-guess minesweeper puzzle. Every board starts at a glowing cell and can be finished by logic alone, so you never face a 50/50 guess. Open every cell that isn't a mine. A number counts the mines in the eight cells around it, and flags mark the cells you know are mines. Boards are made ahead of time, and a solver re-solves every one before it goes into the app, so there is always a next move to find.

Key Features

No guessing from the first tap The glowing start cell is always an empty cell, so your first tap opens a wide area. From there, every board can be solved one step at a time, right to the last cell.
A mine is not the end In Classic and Daily, stepping on a mine doesn't end the board. The cell stays as a blown mine and your mistake count goes up by one. Fastest times count only boards with no mistakes, and a Perfect stamp goes to boards cleared with no mistakes and no hints.
Hints that show their work Tap Hint to light up the numbers worth a look, and tap again to see the next cell to open and the reason. Each hint names the technique behind it, such as One number, Two numbers or Mines left, and a wrong flag is pointed out first. Hints are unlimited and free.
Built for a phone screen Tap to open and long-press to flag, or switch to [Open|Flag] buttons in Settings. Pinch to zoom and drag on every board. Choose big numbers, show or hide the clock, and turn on Show mistakes right away if you like.
A five-step tutorial A short guided board teaches the basics in five steps. Skip it any time, or replay it from Settings.
Glass-chime sounds Soft glass-chime sounds, vibration, and a ripple of light across the board when you clear it. Switch off motion, light and confetti one by one, or tone everything down with Reduce effects. Mistakes and finished boards are marked with shapes as well as color.
Offline play No account, no login. The game works without an internet connection, Daily included.
Multilingual English, Korean, Japanese and Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), following your device language or your choice in Settings.
Free to play The only ad is one small banner at the bottom of the screen. There are no full-screen, video or rewarded ads, and no in-app purchases.
