Cagewise

Cagewise is killer sudoku for people who like to think things through. A wrong number never ends your puzzle, every hint comes with its reason, and a new Daily puzzle arrives each day. Fill the 9×9 grid with 1–9 so that each row, column and 3×3 box contains each number once, as in sudoku. The dotted cages are your clues: the numbers in a cage add up to the small sum in its corner, and a cage never repeats a number. Each puzzle has a single solution that logic alone can reach, and a solver verifies every puzzle before it goes into the app. No guessing needed.

Hints that explain why Tap Hint once to see where to look, and again to see what to do and why. Every hint names the technique behind it, such as Cage combinations, Hidden single, Rule of 45 or Locked candidates, so you pick up the methods as you play.
No lives to lose Wrong numbers cost you nothing: no lives, no time limit. Use as many hints and undos as you like, all free.
Cage combination helper Pick a cell to see every number combination for its cage, and tap one to add it to your notes. Rule conflicts, mistakes, same-number highlighting, number-first input and large numbers can each be switched on or off.
A tutorial on a 6×6 board A short tutorial on a small 6×6 board shows how cages and sums work. Skip it any time, or replay it from Settings.
Copper-bell sounds Soft copper-bell sounds, vibration and gentle effects. Switch each effect off separately, or tone everything down with Reduce effects. Conflicts, mistakes and finished cages are marked with shapes as well as color.
Offline play No sign-up, no login. The game works without an internet connection, Daily included.
