1. Information We Collect

1.1 Automatically Collected Information

The App does not ask for personal information such as your name or email to use its basic features. However, the Android app automatically collects certain information through the following services:

Advertising

The App serves ads through Google AdMob.
AdMob may collect device advertising identifiers (GAID) and ad interaction data.

Usage Statistics — Google Analytics for Firebase

The App sends Google Firebase only the information we need to improve the App. It does not send personal information such as your name or email, or your timers and records, and we see this information only as statistics in the Firebase console.

Usage statistics do not use your advertising ID. The advertising ID is used only for Google AdMob ads.
Usage statistics are linked to ads (Google AdMob), so we can see ad revenue together with usage metrics (number of users, return visits, etc.). Google may use the linked usage statistics to improve AdMob features and the App's ad revenue. The advertising ID is not used here either.
In the European Economic Area (EEA), the UK and Switzerland, a consent window appears the first time you open the App, and your choices apply to both ads and usage statistics.

Crash Reports — Firebase Crashlytics

Google processes usage statistics and crash reports on our behalf on Google's servers, including outside Korea and the EEA (for example in the United States). For details, see Privacy and Security in Firebase.

1.2 Information You Provide

Google Account Information (when using Cloud Sync)

When you sign in with Google for Drive sync, the App accesses your email address and display name.
The App only requests the drive.file scope, which limits access to files created by the App.

1.3 Information Stored on Your Device

The following information is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted externally (unless Cloud Sync is enabled):

Timer presets (names, phase configurations, rounds)
Timer session history (start/end times, completed rounds)
Stopwatch records (labels, elapsed time, lap records)
App settings (theme, language, sound/vibration preferences)

3. Information Sharing and Third Parties

The Developer does not sell or share your personal information with third parties. However, some information may be processed through the following service providers:

All data transmission is encrypted via HTTPS.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

4.1 On-Device Data

You can delete data directly within the App.
Uninstalling the App removes all local data.

4.2 Cloud Data (Google Drive)

Data is stored in your personal Google Drive.
You can delete cloud data using "Reset Cloud" in App settings.
Signing out of Google blocks the App's access to your Drive.
Deleted records are permanently removed from the cloud 30 days after deletion during sync.

4.3 Advertising Data

Data collected by Google AdMob is managed according to Google's policies.
You can limit ad personalization in your device settings.

4.4 Usage Statistics and Crash Reports

User-level usage statistics are deleted automatically after 2 months (Google Analytics data retention setting). After that, only aggregate numbers that cannot be linked to anyone remain.
Crash reports are deleted automatically after 90 days.
Uninstalling the App removes its app instance ID, so later data cannot be linked to earlier data.

6. Additional Rights for Users in the European Economic Area (EEA)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), users residing in the EEA have the following additional rights:

This also covers viewing ad revenue together with usage metrics, to keep this free App running on ads. In the EEA, storage for statistics is limited according to your choice in the consent window.

6.2 Additional Rights

Right of Access: You may request a copy of your personal data being processed.
Right to Rectification: You may request correction of inaccurate personal data.
Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): You may request deletion of your personal data.
Right to Restriction of Processing: You may request restriction of processing under certain circumstances.
Right to Data Portability: You may receive your data in a structured format. The App's backup feature allows you to export your data in JSON format.
Right to Object: You may object to processing based on legitimate interests.
Right to Withdraw Consent: You may withdraw consent at any time for consent-based processing. For cloud sync, you can withdraw by signing out of your Google account.
Right to Lodge a Complaint: You may file a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority in your country of residence.

We do not know your name or contact details, so we cannot find a specific person's records in the usage statistics or crash reports. When you uninstall the App, its app instance ID is removed, so later data cannot be linked to earlier data, and the remaining data is deleted after the retention periods in section 4.4.

6.3 International Data Transfers

When using Cloud Sync, your data may be transferred to servers outside the EEA through your Google Drive. These transfers are protected under Google's Data Processing Terms and Standard Contractual Clauses.

Usage statistics and crash reports from the Android app are also processed on Google's servers outside the EEA (for example in the United States), protected under the Firebase Data Processing and Security Terms and Standard Contractual Clauses.
